Give to Saint Elias

Every gift, large or small, sustains the worship, ministries, and outreach of our parish. In gratitude to God, we offer back a portion of what He has given us.

Home Give

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Your generosity keeps the lamps lit, the doors open, and the hands of Saint Elias reaching out to those in need.

There is no single "right" way to support the parish — give in whatever way is simplest and most meaningful for you.

Online

The quickest and most secure way to give. Use the form above to make a one-time gift or set up recurring monthly stewardship through our secure checkout.

In the offering plate

Bring your gift with you on Sunday and place it in the offering plate during the Divine Liturgy. Cash and checks (payable to Saint Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church) are both welcome.

By mail

Prefer to mail a check? Send it to the parish at Saint Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church, 7580 Pierce St, Arvada, CO 80003.

Planned giving & memorials

Remember Saint Elias in your will or estate plans, or make a gift in memory or in honor of a loved one. Memorial and honorary gifts are a beautiful way to keep a name in the prayers and life of the parish. Reach out through the parish office to arrange one.

Event sponsorships

Support the Annual Festival, the golf tournament, and other parish gatherings by becoming a sponsor. See our events & fundraisers for current sponsorship opportunities.

What is Orthodox stewardship?

Stewardship is not a membership fee or a set of dues. It is our grateful response to the God who has given us everything — life itself, and the gift of His Church. In the Orthodox tradition we speak of offering back three things: our time, our talent, and our treasure.

We give our time in prayer and in showing up for one another. We give our talent by serving in the ministries where God has gifted us. And we give our treasure — a portion of what we earn — so that the work of the parish can continue. None of this is payment for services rendered; it is thanksgiving.

"Freely you have received; freely give." Matthew 10:8

However God has provided for you, a proportional, prayerful, and joyful gift is what the Church asks — not a fixed amount, but a genuine offering from a cheerful heart.

Your Gift at Work

What your giving supports

Everything at Saint Elias is sustained by the generosity of its parishioners and friends. Here is some of what your stewardship makes possible.

Worship & candles

Candles, incense, vestments, service books, and everything needed to offer the Divine Liturgy in beauty, Sunday after Sunday.

Ministries & Sunday School

Materials for our Sunday School, youth programs, choir and chant, adult education, and the many ministries that form us in the faith.

Building & upkeep

Heating, lighting, insurance, cleaning, and the ongoing care of the church home where our parish family gathers.

Outreach to those in need

Caring for the poor, welcoming the stranger, and supporting charitable work in our city and beyond — the love of Christ made practical.

A note on tax-deductibility

Saint Elias is a nonprofit religious organization; gifts support the parish's ministries. For questions about the tax treatment of your gift, please consult your tax advisor. We are glad to provide a giving statement on request through the parish office.
